COLLECT FOR THE THIRD SUNDAY BEFORE LENT:
Almighty God, who alone can bring order to the unruly wills and passions of sinful humanity: give your people grace so to love what you command and to desire what you promise, that, among the many changes of this world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

New members will be enrolled in All Saints MU during the Parish Eucharist on February 12th.
THANKSGIVING EUCHARIST WITH TESTIMONY.
A chance to give thanks to God and share our thanksgiving with one another. Wednesday 15th February, 7.30pm.
YOUTH GROUP.
Friday 17th February. 7-9pm. The Vicarage.
PRAYER VIGIL FOR THE PEOPLE OF NIGERIA FOLLOWED BY A EUCHARIST FOR PEACE.
In light of the recent and ongoing violence in Nigeria we will be holding a Prayer Vigil on Saturday 18th February, from 2pm, ending with a Eucharist for Peace at 5pm.
ASH WEDNESDAY.
February 22nd. There will be Eucharists at 9.30am and 7.30pm, with the Imposition of Ashes. Please bring last year’s Palm Crosses to Fr Stuart before then, so that they can be burnt to make the ashes.
WORSHIPPING WITH ANGLICAN NEIGHBOURS.
As in previous years we will be sharing in worship with our Church of England neighbours at 6pm on Sunday evenings during Lent. February 26th: St Aldhelm’s, Silver Street. March 4th: St Peter’s, Bounces Road. March 11th: St Alphege, Hertford Road. March 18th: All Saints. March 25th: St John’s, Dysons Road.
LENT STUDY GROUPS – EXPERIENCING GOD’S LOVE.
Lent Groups will be held on Wednesdays at 10.20am in Church and 8pm in the Vicarage, and at 11.30am in the Church Hall. The groups begin on Wednesday 29th February. If you’d like a copy of the course book (cost £5.99), please put your name down on the list in the library corner, but please note you don’t have to have a copy of the book to be part of Lent Groups.
